Operation Deep Freeze mission wraps up
Lt. Col. Jim McGann stands on the Hickam flightline in front of a C-17 Globemaster III from McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and an LC-130 Hercules from the 109th Airlift Wing at Scotia, New York. The 2006-2007 season of the 13th Air Force-led Joint Task Force-Support Forces Antarctica, Operation Deep Freeze, wrapped up Feb. 26 with the redeployment of the aircraft from Christchurch, New Zealand.
