Airmen return home from ODF

A C-17 Globemaster III from Stewart Air National Guard Base brought about 30 Airmen home to Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, New York, on Feb. 24, 2015. The Airmen were in Antarctica supporting Operation Deep Freeze. More Airmen and LC-130 Hercules ski-equipped aircraft assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing will return throughout the week following the close of the wing's 27th year supporting the National Science Foundation.
